A series of health insurance literacy videos, created by Cover Missouri, are now online. The videos, available in both English and Spanish, aim to help clear up the complicated information surrounding health insurance, and make it easier to understand.

Numeracy is the ability to understand and use numbers in different health situations to make good health decisions. In health insurance, people will have to read and understand prices, choose the best option for their families, calculate costs for health insurance and health care, and estimate future risks and costs.
Held at the Hilton President in Kansas City, the combined events will gather hundreds of health care professionals as they take part in skill building, sit in on panel sessions and celebrate the achievements of the state’s and nation’s top health literacy scholars and activists.
