Junior Associate
We are seeking the right individual to serve as a Junior Associate who will support our training and communications activities. The Junior Associate is a part-time position. The position involves significant program and training evaluation activities and will assist with research and data analysis.
Ideal candidates will have background in health promotion, health communications or public health.
The candidate will work 20 hours per week and must be able to commit to a regular schedule. Some flexibility on days worked is possible, however, five days a week is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Enter evaluation data from training forms on a regular basis
- Assist in the execution of qualitative and statistical analyses
- Regularly track the scheduling and completion of Health Literacy Missouri’s trainings
- Assist in promoting HLM’s trainings and other services through e-mail, mailers, and other means
- Assist in developing sales, marketing and proposal materials
- Assist with other administrative and project management duties
- Help write and update copy for the website as it relates to HLM’s products and services
Education and experience
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience, preferably in health related field.
- At least 1-2 years in community health activities including analyzing research, conducting surveys, and tracking outcomes.
- Understanding of marketing processes
- Strong computer skills with high proficiency in MS Word and Excel. Experience using databases and statistical analysis (SPSS) software required.
- Effective written and oral communication skills.
- Strong time-management and organizational skills as well as the ability to prioritize and work on multiple assignments simultaneously are essential.
- High level of personal initiative, good presentation skills, ability to deal with matters confidentially, attention to detail, polite and friendly.
